What happened

La Guadalupana Foods is recalling about 2,669 pounds of frozen tamales. The boxes are labeled as "Mild Pork Tamales" but actually contain bean, cheese, and jalapeno tamales. Because they contain cheese, they have milk in them that isn't listed on the label. This is a problem for anyone with a milk allergy. The tamales were shipped to restaurants and retail stores in Illinois, Iowa, Ohio, and Wisconsin. No illnesses have been reported.
